The LWV is a nonpartisan civic organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The League's mission is to empower voters and defend democracy; therefore, it is committed to equity for all voters and the recognition that democracy is strengthened by the inclusion of diverse voices in the community.

Why join the LWV? 

• Identify community issues. Meet and problem solve with diverse individuals who are committed to Democracy and have unique experiences and knowledge.
