LEAGUE DAY AT THE STATEHOUSE

Thank you for a successful League Day at the State House event! 55 (including Table Talk experts) attended League Day, and 29 people went to dinner and the show.

The table talks were well received and well attended.Dinner at Buca di Beppo went well and the theatre production of Fannie was awesome. Thank you, Tracy de Martinez, for suggesting the performance at the IRT, directing us in securing tickets, arranging for the private room, and setting up the dessert buffet. It was a fabulous evening.

League Day at the Statehouse marked the half-way point for the 2024 Indiana Legislative session. Whether you were able to participate or not, you may still have an impact on the legislation currently being considered in the Indiana General Assembly. But it takes all of us! The wetlands bill we opposed has already been signed into law by the Governor. Read more HERE and HERE. It also received attention from beyond our state borders in an article on the Audubon Great Lakes website and in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel because our wetlands have an impact on the larger region of which we are a part. To stay up to date and act on environmental or other issues, sign up for the advocate lists below.
