As we approach the 61^stAnniversary of the historic Selma Bridge Crossing, we invite you to join the League of Women Voters in Selma and Montgomery, Alabama, from March 6-8, 2026, for the Selma Bridge Crossing Jubilee.

The Jubilee is a transformative commemoration of one of the most pivotal moments in our nation's fight for civil rights.

 

It’s an opportunity to honor the bravery of those who marched for equality, reflect on the progress made, and recommit ourselves to safeguarding democracy.

 

If you or members of your state or local League plan to attend the Selma Jubilee, we encourage you to fill out the Google form. This helps us coordinate with fellow League members traveling to Selma and ensures you’ll receive updates about local gatherings, League-specific programming, and on-the-ground opportunities.

The form features some events and a link to the Jubilee website where you can explore all the events and activities.
