Indiana Voter ID Information

All Indiana registered voters need to show an approved Indiana Voter ID to cast their ballots in the primary and general elections. An Indiana driver's license is a valid ID. Other acceptable ID can be found in the 2010 Indiana Voters Information Guide. Learn more about the Indiana Voter ID.

Indiana photo ID cards are issued free-of-charge, for the purpose of voting, at all Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle Auto License branches and are valid Indiana Voter ID cards. The League of Women Voters of Indiana in accordance with the LWVUS Citizens Right to Vote position opposes the Indiana Voter (Photo) ID Law (P.L. 109-2005 ) which was approved by the Indiana State Legislature in 2005. Find out more about it here.
